This page is maintained by the KeyX team to answer common questions about how the app handles your data. It is app-owned editable content, not an independent certification.
Account & Authentication
- Sign-in is handled by our managed auth provider using email/password or Google.
- Passwords are never stored or visible to KeyX — only secure tokens are kept in your browser.
- You can sign out from the Profile screen at any time.
Your Data
- We store the data you create in KeyX: your profile, chat threads, messages, and missions.
- Row-level security restricts every record so only you can read or modify your own data.
- Uploaded avatars are stored in a private bucket scoped to your user ID.
AI Processing
Messages you send in chat are forwarded to a third-party AI model provider to generate responses and missions. Don't include sensitive personal information you wouldn't want processed by an AI service.
Retention & Deletion
To delete your account and associated data, contact us and we'll remove your records from the database.
Shared Responsibility
KeyX runs on managed hosting and database infrastructure that provides encryption in transit and at rest. Platform features are operated by our providers; how the app uses and exposes data is our responsibility.
